Q. Why two anesthesiologists?
A. For securing 1 to 1 specialized care system based on NAMU safety standards
NAMU Plastic Surgery has in-house anesthesiologist. Professional anesthesiologist examines recovery status of patient after operation and determines discharge from hospital. Since the degree of difficulty of face contouring operation is higher than other plastic surgery, close observation of patient and rich experience of anesthesiologist is required.
NAMU Double Sleep Anesthesia
ONLY AT NAMU, "DOUBLE SLEEPING ANESTHESIA"
Double sleeping anesthesia is developed by NAMU anesthesiologists + Dr. In Soo Kirk, the main director of NAMU Plastic Surgery, and trademark right is applied to the patent office. Double sleeping anesthesia is the anesthesia method that combines the feature of General Anesthesia (GA) and sleeping anesthesia (sedation). The biggest difference between General Anesthesia and Double sleeping anesthesia is that patient can breathe voluntarily. Double sleeping anesthesia differentiates itself from the general anesthesia by not using muscle relaxants. Still, it takes advantage of general anesthesia such as preventing movement during the surgery and securing deep sleep status during the operation.
